Driver Checklist

We checklist the driver or group leader on parking and other local regulations, pick-up arrangements, layout of the city.

Passenger Pick-up

We return passengers to the pick-up point or (in the case where guests have free time in York) give clear directions throughout the walk as to how to return to the pick-up point (see map below).

Passenger/Guest Care

Health and Safety is a priority – walking/stair-climbing difficulties, toilet availability, advice, recommendations for free time, and distributing York guides, all dealt with systematically from the start.

Our commitment is that each visitor will have a clear memory of York through the sights we visit and the stories that we tell and that their visit to York is something that will stay with them as a special experience.

The enquiry form asks for brief details of your party. Give us as little as you like, but preferably as much detail as you can.

Our guides are presenters. They are chosen for their clarity of speaking, current and historical knowledge of York, and of life in general……..and for their entertainment value.
